Description/Flavour Profile: Whilst this is from two distinct terroirs, we decided not to bottle it as a Duo, as it was blended a very long time ago (not by us). This makes a huge difference because the 2 profiles have become perfectly integrated together in the cask. The natural cask strength is quite gentle, making it plenty drinkable without becoming watery. It’s not extreme in terms of esters, but we rather see this as a strength, with plenty of breathing room to show its layered complexity developed through ageing. Guyana shows as the canvas where Jamaica is the brush strokes in this timeless masterpiece.
